Its time to reveal this project! For this Longmont, Colorado remodel, the homeowners had a very simple goal: they wanted a space that that felt comfortable and inviting. This bathroom brings warmth, texture, and functionality. The shower is custom designed with a corner shelf and a niche.
We paired the earthy green fluted tile with marble stone toppings to keep things feeling bright and elevated while maintaining that soft, welcoming atmosphere. The penny tile on the floor of the shower and inside of the niche adds texture for security while standing on a wet shower floor, and brings in more earthy tones.
Our clients chose a Pottery Barn double sink vanity to bring storage, warmth and natural texture into the space.
We tied it all together with a polished chrome Kohler shower package, featuring a waterfall head and handheld wand, and chrome fixtures and hardware throughout. We used chrome grab bars to turn the necessary hardware into an intentional element of the design.
We installed a radiant heated floor system under the main floor tile for added comfort on chilly mornings.
The custom glass door is from Meier All County Glass, our most trusted local glass supplier. Our clients told us that when they saw the finished bathroom with the glass installed, it “sealed the deal” for them.
I hope to do more projects with a similar design vibe in the future, something about this tile is just good for the soul.
